"Jax is a very smart dog. He was house broken in the first week he was home. He is a quick learner and eager to try chase new things. He is very friendly and will love anyone that has a ball or a stick that he can catch. Children get along with him very well, he lets them pet him and play with him. Jax especially likes to make new friends at the dog park. He plays nice and shares all of his toys! He knows when it is time to play and when it is time to be serious. Jax is incredibly loyal and he knows that he is supposed to keep his family safe. Jax is a great dog

Puppies and Their Forever Families

"I got Bleux (Blue) from PJ and Lydia in June of 2015.  I was looking for the elusive intensely driven family dog if there ever were such a thing.  They seemed like true Lab lovers and outdoors people, and were not of the puppy mill sort.  I have owned Labs most of my life and have trained all of my Labs to hunt.  I lost my Lab Bayo after almost 14 years, and after about a year I was ready.  

    I take getting a new Lab very seriously.  I have never bought a Lab sight unseen, but after 15 minutes of talking to PJ, it was obvious that he was experienced with Labs and knew what he was doing.  After too much thought and a couple of close calls with people headed to buy Bleux but held back by a storm etc., I pulled the trigger.

Bleux is exactly the dog that I was looking for.  Very Hunt Driven, yet wonderful with kids.  He will run around and play with the kids all day, being gentle with the little ones.  He will hunt like a mad man, always with his eyes on the sky searching for a duck or a dove. His nose is nothing short of spectacular!  At 5 months he did several blind retrieves in brush that a human could not walk through.  He is a true natural.  When talking with PJ, I was worried about having someone else choose my dog for me.  He said “If Bleux is not the best dog you’ve ever had; it will break my heart.”  No heart repair needed! Bleux is the most amazing pet, and hunter I’ve ever had, and my 6-year old’s number one fan!

    If you want a Lab with all the best traits, look no further than PJ and Lydia at Deep Creek Kennels.  They love their dogs and they know them well.  They are simply Lab Lovers that choose to pair the best in temperament and drive.  The best thing is that they do this simply for the love of the dogs and the sport.  If you doubt me, give them a call!"

Pickles

Pickles has been the biggest, craziest (in the most funniest ways possible) & loudest blessing we could have ever asked for. She came into our lives when we needed her the most & hasn't slowed down since. 

She keeps busy with her five year old brother that is her best friend. They spend time playing chase, fetch or taking napes. She's been wonderful from the beginning & we've never had to worry about her with him.

She just recently got a new baby brother to lick & love on. She comes to his rescue if he makes a sound. She's very protective of him as well!

Pickles is the smartest, sweetest most gentle loving dog one could ever want. She's been a quick learner with everything we've taught her this far. She loves to snuggle at night when it's time for bed & raring to go early in the morning. 

We are truly thankful for Picks & the love she gives us!
